This course enables participants to explore and deepen their knowledge and skills in urban farming.
At the end of the course, participants will have a good understanding of emerging and disruptive urban farming technologies, essential techniques and equipment, optimal growing environment and conditions, and practical know-how to grow vegetables in indoor spaces or customised enclosures.
Participants will have the opportunity to practice the selected stages of farming (e.g. seed germination, nursery and potting for cultivation to harvest) using specimens prepared in advance. With practices and passion, participants will be able to grow vegetables not only for their consumption but as potential city farmers who can produce high-yield and high-quality vegetables for the communities, thereby strengthening the local food security and sustainability.
Who Should Attend
